The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in advancing the CDC Foundation's mission by designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure for a public health organization. Working within the Maine CDCβs Informatics team, the Data Engineer will deliver the architecture needed for data generation, storage, processing, and analysis. They will develop plans for data governance, policies and procedures, and documentation to set up a data lake/warehouse.
The Project Implementation Manager will drive the delivery of technical projects that improve the use of public health data to inform decision making. This role is aligned to the Workforce Acceleration Initiative (WAI), a federally funded CDC Foundation program with the goal of helping the nationβs public health agencies by providing them with technology and data experts.
Drive the development of a tailored health data governance framework aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Play a critical role in bridging gaps between siloed systems, developing a data governance infrastructure, collaborating to create structured policies and procedures, and leading training initiatives to empower staff and foster a culture of data stewardship in data-driven decision-making.
The Software Engineer will play a crucial role in advancing the CDC Foundation's mission by developing and maintaining software applications for a public health association. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Umbraco to lead the migration and development of externally facing websites, and be responsible for transitioning existing WordPress websites to Umbraco, ensuring secure data collection, improved site analytics, and an optimized user experience.
The CDC Foundation is seeking an Epidemiologist to support surveillance, prevention, and response activities within the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program. Responsibilities include conducting surveillance, analyzing data to determine patterns and causes of drug overdoses, implementing innovative surveillance projects, and disseminating results for local communities.
