The Grant Writing Intern contributes to ONC’s mission of providing nonpartisan news, opinions, and policy solutions by completing essential tasks in the Business Development Department. The Grant Writing Intern is responsible for assisting with fundraising campaigns, grant writing, grant research, and donor outreach. This is a remote position, with work primarily conducted over Zoom and Slack, and applicants are expected to maintain a high level of communication.
Contributes to ONC’s mission of providing nonpartisan news, opinions, and policy solutions by completing essential tasks on the Human Resources team. The HR intern is responsible for gathering information to craft role descriptions, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, onboarding new interns, maintaining internal paperwork, and assisting with offboarding. The HR intern will also have opportunities to participate in other HR-related tasks and projects within the HR department based on their interests.
The Social Media Intern contributes to ONC’s mission of providing nonpartisan news, opinions, and policy solutions by building a strong social media presence and community on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Youtube. These interns will help with content creation, rollout strategy, engagement and data analytics.
The Podcast Intern contributes to ONC’s mission of providing nonpartisan news, opinions, and policy solutions by assisting with the production of Our National Conversation (ONC)’s podcast. This intern is responsible for recording and editing podcasts, ensuring the research and completion of episode outlines are completed by the deadline, and publishing all finished episodes. The intern must be creative and a good team player.
