Partner with Sales and Customer Engineering throughout the pre-sales and post-sales journey as the technical expert helping customers solve their most challenging database problems. Lead technical discovery to match customers’ business and technical objectives with PlanetScale’s offerings. Design and execute proof of value timelines that deliver agreed upon business outcomes and success criteria.
Take on sales led pipeline generation while building the sales development function. You will build and scale an outstanding sales development team and maintain a constant high quality bar. Partner with rev ops to build systems, processes and tooling to maximize opportunity qualification efficiency. You will also drive prospect qualification and set Sales up for productive discovery sessions.
