The candidate will develop mission engagements, identify USG mission groups that need our maritime sensing technology, and develop partnerships with them to drive deployments of our software in support of their mission. The candidate will scope and implement pilots with our partners and convert successful pilots into larger projects.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be the field "CTO" for that Mission team and customer relationship. You will work on a cross-functional team directly supporting members of our national security. You’ll own the architecture, development, and deployment of software solutions that support specific customer missions. Your job includes everything from meeting with customers to scoping and implementing software.

Lead a team of signal processing and machine learning engineers in building an intelligent signal detection and characterization platform. You will set the overall direction of signal detection, characterization, and identification at Vannevar Labs to address mission critical sensing requirements for our end users in the United States Government.

This role will directly support the growth, strategy, government relations, and success functions at Vannevar as the Chief of Staff to the President. You will be critical to driving continued growth, partnering with Mission leadership to identify and execute the top strategic goals, align team efforts and resources, and proactively anticipate future needs and planning.

The Geospatial engineering team is building a cutting-edge platform for unclassified geospatial analytical workflows in support of strategic competition efforts; as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll help build and deliver mission-critical capabilities. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that includes software engineers and officers from all branches of the military. Our engineering culture is about empathizing with users and building software products that deliver maximum mission impact.

Lead the data platform engineering team, specializing in data pipelines, data warehousing, and APIs that support developers building tools for the US DoD. You'll lead a growing team responsible for structuring a diverse collection of multimodal datasets and providing various access patterns for internal developers including multi-media semantic search, entity search, and relational data primitives.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to build strong pipelines for high-impact roles across engineering, data science, product, and more. Your work will directly influence our ability to scale with quality and speed.

This candidate will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.

The Data Platform team needs a Senior Software Engineer to manage access, login experiences, and API authentication. You'll be a technical leader, influencing security and authentication patterns, working with the Information Security team to meet DoD requirements, and defining user management workflows.
