Senior Platform Engineer, Data Reliability

Contribute to the design and capabilities of the SmarterDx development platform. Build, deploy, maintain, and monitor common AWS infrastructure with Terraform. Build capabilities using Kubernetes custom controllers in Go and deploy common libraries in Python and Typescript to utilize common data, observability, and monitoring systems. Ensure the security of our clients’ data by building secure patterns into the fabric of the system in close collaboration with Security Engineering. Work on database reliability and performance aspects for SmarterDx. Analyze solutions and implement best practices for our main PostgreSQL database cluster and its components. Provide database expertise to engineering teams (for example through reviews of database migrations, queries and performance optimizations). Work on automation of database infrastructure and help engineering succeed by providing self-service tools.
