Role Overview:
- Reporting to the VP of Medical and Scientific Communications, this role leads Vera's publication and congress strategy.
- The position requires strategic leadership and hands-on execution across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop long-range publication plans and congress strategies aligned with clinical milestones.
- Draft, edit, and critically review manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
- Manage external agencies and vendors while ensuring compliance with GPP and ICMJE.
Qualifications:
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) with 10+ years in scientific communications.
- Strong ability to interpret clinical trial data and statistical outputs.
- Experience managing publication development and external author review.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base pay range is $220,000-$330,000 USD plus performance bonus and equity.
