Job Description
The Privacy Officer will be responsible for keeping organizational data privacy policies up to date in accordance with federal and state laws.
- Manage privacy strategy, monitor, audit, and document compliance.
- Ensure staff are adequately trained and follow written policies and procedures.
- Oversee the review, reporting, documentation and mitigation of privacy breaches.
- Serve as a project lead, working closely with staff to address organizational privacy compliance gaps.
- Collaborate with the security officer to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
