Senior Medical Writer I

The Senior Medical Writer I (SMW I) ensures that all content developed is evidence-based, of the highest editorial quality, meets clients' strategic objectives, and translates science into clinical benefit. The SMW I collaborates with team members to drive projects to efficient completion and should be engaged in frequent collaboration with the Principal Medical Writer (PMW)/Scientific Director (ScD) while also developing independence as a content lead. Content development includes writing to the standards, format, and requirements of our clients, complete all elements required by teams and clients, such as speaker notes, references, and annotations including the development of outlines with a clearly highlighted story arc. The SMW independently conducts effective literature searches, interpret and apply clinical and preclinical data from complex tables and graphs, and quickly learn new subject areas according to business needs. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Word®, PowerPoint®, Excel®, Adobe Acrobat®, reference-management software, with PubMed and other literature search tools.
