PHP Engineer

This is a PHP Engineer role at Lendable where they are looking to diversify their engineering team internationally and are looking for permanent employees who currently live and work in the Cape Town area. The role will be predominantly remote with quarterly visits to London (paid for by us). This team is tasked with the future of credit at Lendable and tackles some of the toughest and most challenging credit markets globally - across the UK, US and Latin America. There’s much to do, from security-first API integrations with fraud detection and asset management systems, repurposing in-house-built credit card systems for new markets, integrating with developing underwriting models and third-party reporting automation to identifying the value of collected data and leveraging it for better credit decisions.
