Miris is seeking a technically exceptional and creatively driven Procedural Asset Engineer to join their friendly and fully remote R&D team. You will bridge the fast moving radiance field techniques with scalable production practices to make an automated pipeline converting user-supplied images and 3D data into Mirisβs proprietary streamable 3D format. This position blends procedural craft, and asset supervision. Youβll be hands-on in Python and content creation tools building both framework and algorithmic components of the system while guiding visual quality, identifying weak points, and creatively solving for pushing our quality forward. The role includes designing and building procedural pipelines in Python and DCCs such as Houdini to transform varied inputs into streamable Gaussian splats, taking responsibility for the visual integrity of generated assets, and collaborating with research engineers and dev ops to ensure the asset pipeline runs smoothly on cloud compute platforms.
