Senior Data Engineer

As an experienced Senior Data Engineer, you will help the Content team deliver the most helpful, high quality and rich hotel and room content to our users, to help them find the best deals. You will work with a modern stack consisting of Spark (Python and Scala), SQL (Snowflake and DuckDB), Golang, AWS, Terraform, Datadog, and more. You will integrate with many suppliers and process large amounts of data daily. You will identify, analyse and integrate new data sources to improve attribute coverage and to enrich our content products, enabling a more personalized user experience downstream. You will retrieve, transform and merge accommodation (hotel and room) data (image, JSON, text, etc.) from new suppliers. You will focus on optimising our data pipelines, migrating legacy pipelines to modern frameworks like Spark and DuckDB, and adding new features to our APIs and data products. You will innovate and use modern tooling like LLMs to generate new content and augment it. You will work in a cross functional environment.
