Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
  • Previous experience in an OEM or Tier-1 automotive environment is preferred.
  • Experience with lighting components, optical integration, or interior modules is considered a strong advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • CATIA V5 expertise with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in interior lighting design.
  • Strong understanding of plastic part design, packaging constraints, and integration of lighting components.
  • Familiarity with VW Group processes and standards (preferred).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, especially in a remote work context.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Component Owners, Project Leads, QA).
  • Problem-solving mindset with good organizational skills.
