Senior Database Administrator

Bridgenext is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our team. Bridgenext is seeking a DBA who will be expected to work autonomously and collaborate with the development team to design and build high impact projects around reporting services comprising of MSQL, MongoDB and Kafka. You will be part of a team which will have on-call duties and will need to respond to high priority incident pager. Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze database performance and ensure effective and efficient utilization of database systems/processes  Expertise with analyzing long running queries (SQL and NoSQL) and make recommendations on rewriting queries, indexes, statistics and infrastructure Expertise in reviewing execution plans and pinning the efficient execution plan, if needed during high priority incidents Develop and debug stored procedures, views, etc. Data modelling, and designing data orchestration to build reporting database Perform analysis, build scripts to execute data backfills in database/tables (SQL and NoSQL) to hydrate data as needed You will be part of the team having on-call duties and respond to high priority incident pager
