Data Operations Technician

Help build the foundation for accurate and trustworthy machine learning models. You'll join a small, focused team responsible for producing the high-quality data that powers AI-based tools. Your primary project to start with is our transcript-reading system, a tool used to interpret high school transcripts automatically. Responsibilities include building evaluation sets by manually extracting course information, credit weights, and grades from student transcripts to construct ground truth datasets and calculate GPAs based on a predefined rule set. You will also be performing human-in-the-loop review by reviewing transcripts flagged as low-confidence by our system, using internal tools to compare the original PDF with the extracted data and make corrections as needed.
