Senior / Staff Analytics Engineer

Position Summary:

• You will own dbt, the modeling layer, and the semantic layer that defines how Fora measures its business in code.
• Partner closely with the VP of Data & AI, Data Engineering, and Risk & Analytics.
• Inherit a dbt project built by an external partner, assess it, and own what it becomes next.

What Success Looks Like:

• Stabilize and improve inherited dbt project with clear conventions and documentation.
• Establish governed semantic layer for high-value business metrics.
• Enable BI users and AI-native analytics to consume governed metrics.

What You Have:

• Deep dbt experience with production software mindset and strong dimensional modeling.
• Semantic-layer experience using MetricFlow or similar, and Python competence.
• Clear stakeholder communication and ownership of data quality and observability.
