Purpose:

  • Help park resource managers understand implications of sea level change.
  • Focus on salt marsh vegetation and coastal brown bears.
  • Collaborate with terrestrial ecologist.

Description of duties:

  • Harmonize elevation data from various sources.
  • Process and classify aerial photography.
  • Summarize the distribution and elevation of vegetation types.

Qualifications:

  • United States citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Background check required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an ecology-related discipline.
  • Skills in statistical analyses using R.
  • Experience analyzing geospatial data.
