Vice President of Technology Engineering

Cologix is looking for a highly motivated individual with strong thought leadership and interpersonal skills who will assist with selecting and deploying new technologies in support of Basis of Design requirements utilized in the construction of new facilities as well as the retrofit and upgrade of existing facilities. The Vice President of Technology Engineering will be a technical resource for the President of the company as well as supporting peer organizations such as Construction & Operations. This person will assist in both technical and financial evaluations including TCO analysis, EOL timelines, validate MTBF rates across various technologies, impact to customer reliability and drive industry leading SLA’s into purchase agreements ensuring positive outcomes related to service and support of selected equipment over the life of that deployment.

This position requires a deep understanding of engineering principles as well as practical knowledge of the operation of that equipment over its intended life cycle. The preferred candidate will have had exposure and knowledge of all key aspects of Data Center site design & engineering including Electrical, Mechanical, Security (Physical & Network), Fire and Structural elements of the solution to be deployed.
