Role Overview:
- This is a pro-bono, volunteer position requiring a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week.
- The role is dedicated to planning and executing events that engage the JerseySTEM college instructors community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the remote planning, organizing, and executing of events within the JerseySTEM community.
- Manages event logistics, budget, and marketing to ensure events are successful and meet community needs.
- Partners with the communications team to produce event write-ups for social media and blogs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Requires strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have knowledge of event planning software, budget management, marketing experience, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Applicants must commit to a minimum of six months and approximately six hours per week.
