Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Own the Data Science strategy for the RC Capital team, building underwriting and fraud systems from the ground up.
• Analyze cross-platform revenue data to uncover insights that improve model performance and product design.
• Build mechanisms to measure impact and drive prioritization of new data initiatives in a fast-moving environment.

Required Skills:

• You have 5+ years of data science experience, ideally within fintech, credit, lending, or payments.
• You possess deep expertise in building fraud detection and credit underwriting models.
• You are highly proficient in SQL and Python for building, deploying, and monitoring production models.

Success Metrics:

• Within the first month, understand the current Daily Payouts product and form a point of view on key gaps.
• Within three months, deploy a baseline fraud detection model into production and integrate risk signals.
• Within twelve months, own the underwriting and fraud systems end-to-end and influence the Capital product roadmap.
