Job Description
The Wholesale Account Specialist is responsible for expanding the network and enhancing relationships between independent repair facilities and automotive OEM Dealers. This role involves identifying and contacting new shop accounts, promoting software adoption, and engaging Dealers in program initiatives, focusing on mechanical independent repair facilities and collision body shops to integrate them with OEM Dealerships.
The Specialist drives the adoption of electronic parts ordering platforms like CollisionLink, OPSTrax, CCC, and RepairLink, streamlining the parts ordering process. Responsibilities include cold calling shops, identifying key personnel, facilitating introductions between shops and dealership Parts Managers, and updating CRM profiles. Additionally, the role involves coaching Dealers to optimize software order response times and improve conversion rates.
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of Automotive or Wholesale experience, wholesale parts sales experience, and understanding of the US automotive aftermarket. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to integrate people and system processes. Travel up to 95% is required.
