Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the fintech engineering team to design, build, and scale wallet infrastructure for Deel's global users.
  • Work with different teams to integrate wallets with regional banks through PSPs, orchestrating pay-ins.
  • Collaborate with the Core Accounting team to connect wallets with the General Ledger, ensuring balances are accurate.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Team Lead in payments, banking, accounting, or treasury.
  • Hands-on experience with wallets, flows of funds, compliance, and regulated money movement.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and API-driven banking/PSP integrations.

Qualities:

  • Ownership and detail-oriented mindset, mindful of the responsibility of managing other people’s money.
  • Ability to run projects at scale, mentor engineers, and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • High availability for global collaboration.
