About Earth Species Project:

About the Role:
- We are seeking two Bioacoustics Annotators to serve as internal data consultants.
- You will create datasets for training and evaluating AI models on animal communication data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audio annotation: precision labeling of bioacoustic audio across projects.
- Pipeline optimization: test and provide feedback on annotation software.
- Annotation validation: develop and use software to ensure quality.
What We Are Looking For:
- Undergrad degree in relevant field (e.g., computer science, marine biology, zoology) or equivalent experience.
- Solid background in bioacoustics and handling acoustic data.
- Comfortable creating code in Python to review annotations and integrate datasets.
