Job Description
Financial Management:
- Manage the general ledger, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Oversee payroll administration and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and develop metrics for improvement.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal acquisition regulations (FAR), and tax requirements.
- Maintain relationships with external CPA firms for tax and audits.
Leadership and Improvement:
- Lead and mentor accounting team members, scaling processes as the organization grows.
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement through system enhancements.
- Communicate effectively with staff and external partners.
