Scientific Director Medical Affairs

The Scientific Director, Medical Affairs will report to the Executive Scientific Director, Medical Affairs, and will represent Iovance Medical Affairs as needed, serving as a TIL cell therapy therapeutic area expert in educational, strategic, and tactical discussions/presentations with internal colleagues as well as external experts and investigators. They will support field clinical activities and lead the development of impactful content for the Field Medical Team, including presentations, congress materials, and training modules, in this highly collaborative role. Strong cell therapy expertise and recent clinical experience is required as this individual will be responsible for engagement and education with external HCP stakeholders. They will support advisory board meetings and congress scientific forum planning. The Scientific Director, Medical Affairs will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of medical strategies with overarching corporate objectives.

Responsibilities will include representing Iovance Medical Affairs as a TIL cell therapy expert, working cross-functionally to support various teams, participating in Medical Affairs cross-functional working groups, representing Iovance at professional meetings, and providing high quality clinical input. The role also involves partnering with Scientific Communications to develop publication strategies and interacting with key stakeholders.
