Security Compliance Engineer

About the role:

• You own the technical security layer behind Syllo's compliance program, including Vanta implementation, SSO, endpoint security, and incident response.
• You report to the Director of Data Security Compliance and execute the standards they set, with a focus on building and operating controls rather than authoring policy.

What you will do:

• Implement and monitor technical controls for SOC 2 and ISO 27001, including Vanta, SSO, and endpoint management.
• Design IAM policies, enforce least-privilege access, and manage device enrollment and MDM policy across a distributed team.
• Own detection, triage, and technical incident response, and enforce customer data segregation alongside product engineering.

What you bring:

• 3+ years in security engineering or DevSecOps with hands-on implementation experience.
• Experience with Vanta or comparable GRC tooling, SSO providers, and MDM platforms.
• Proficiency with cloud security controls in GCP, AWS, or Azure, plus a security certification preferred.
