Data Integration Specialist

About the Role:

• This is a remote contract position until February 2027, with the possibility of conversion to full-time staff.
• The role requires approximately 40 hours per week, with most working hours between 8am and 6pm Eastern Time.

What You'll Do:

• Work extensively with higher education system schemas and databases, primarily from SIS and LMS platforms.
• Review, prioritize, and analyze data columns from various ed-tech systems for inclusion in the integrated data model.
• Apply filtering, if-then logic, splitting, and concatenation to transform data across schemas.

Who You Are:

• You have direct experience with higher education data schemas and databases.
• You are skilled in writing data dictionaries, mapping specifications, and ensuring traceable transformations.
• You are proficient in SQL and Python, with familiarity in dbt, Great Expectations, and Git.
