About The Role:
- The Sr. Engineer is responsible for being a technical subject matter expert.
- This role can work directly on a specific project, but primarily supports across the portfolio of projects.
- Location preference is local to our Boise HQ, however, this role can be remote for exceptionally qualified candidates.
What You'll Do:
- Lead development of in-house models and provide guidance on evolving best practices for model assumptions uncertainty assessment.
- Lead Independent Engineer (IE) due diligence including contract management and reviewing IE reports.
- Provide SME expertise support on diligence logs and calls with IE and bank partners.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, the electrical power industry, or related, including a minimum of 5 years of experience in photovoltaic and/or energy storage engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
