Responsibilities:
- Manage GCP Data Support: Create and maintain BigQuery tables, support migration from Hive/Presto, validate SQL conversions, and ensure data accuracy.
- Handle Tableau Reporting & Migration: Build and maintain dashboards on BigQuery datasets, support migration to new Tableau instances, and perform validation testing.
- Ensure Data Ingestion & Stability: Support automated pipelines into GCP, monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Data Engineering.
Requirements:
- Possess 2–5 years in BI or data engineering support roles with strong SQL and GCP experience.
- Have hands-on Tableau development skills and exposure to data migration projects.
- Demonstrate ability in data validation and reconciliation, with preferred experience in logistics data.
Metrics:
- Achieve stable and accurate production datasets in GCP with successful migration support.
- Ensure smooth Tableau dashboard migration without regression and adhere to SLA timelines.
- Minimize data defects in reporting outputs and handle production support effectively.
