Senior Data Engineer (UK)

As a Data Engineer, you'll build core infrastructure software (pipelines, APIs, data modelling) within our client's data platform team. Instrument systems for performance and enhancement, ensuring data offerings are secure for internal & external stakeholders. Choose and implement technologies for scaling data access, batch processing, and data streaming, considering the client's business domain. Additionally, coach & mentor other engineers. Required technical competencies include Python, JavaScript, data pipelines using dbt, Kafka, Spark, AWS Kinesis, Lambda, Apache Airflow, Data Modelling patterns, deep knowledge of complex SQL, and end-to-end monitoring & alerting. Offers remote-first working environment.
