Position Summary:
- Supports the Command, Control, Communications (C3C)/Kessel Run division of the Air Force.
- Works on technologies that make up the DAF BATTLE NETWORK to provide warfighters with decision advantage.
- Architects and acquires means to connect weapon systems with warfighters in an era of great power competition.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain threat models and execute security risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Review applications against standards like OWASP Top 10 and deliver prioritized remediation recommendations.
- Stay updated with emerging security advisories, regulations, and compliance standards including ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Must be a US citizen with an active Secret Level Clearance and 10+ years of experience including 5+ in DoD application security.
- Requires CompTIA Sec+ certification and understanding of web development frameworks like AngularJS and React.
- Travel may be required up to 10%, and candidate must be within driving distance to an Air Force base for network access.
