Paralegal II

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Paralegal II to be a key contributor to our in-house Legal & Compliance team. You will be handling day-to-day legal and compliance tasks while helping to support the operational backbone of the department. Responsibilities include managing litigation and demand letters, conducting investigations and root-cause analysis, communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel, and coordinating litigation defense with outside counsel. You will also investigate and respond to inbound complaints from regulators, working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution. A key part of your role will be to take ownership and proactively identify areas for improvement, contributing directly to the success and scalability of our legal and compliance functions. 4+ years of combined experience in a corporate in-house legal department, preferably in a fintech, a debt collection agency, or another financial institution is required.
