Job Description
Reporting to the Operation Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for supervising the manufacturing of different components to ensure compliance with technical drawings, client specifications and applicable standards according to SGS procedures. The incumbent will perform various tasks related to the supervision of manufacturing processes, such as progress reports, witness testing, welding, dimensional, pre-shipment, and loading inspections on a short-, medium-, and long-term basis.
Specific responsibilities include performing tasks specified by his/her supervisor, identifying and analysing customer needs, planning and preparing work to be completed onsite, and ensuring equipment is in proper working condition. The role also involves consulting with clients, coordinating actions, and ensuring onsite work is consistent with the mandate.
Additional duties include reviewing quality plans, purchase orders, and technical specifications, verifying manufacturing compliance, performing welding inspections, communicating with clients, completing quality forms, and preparing reports. The incumbent will also participate in factory meetings and perform administrative tasks.
