Job Description

The Preconstruction Manager will be instrumental in the pre-subcontract award phase, ensuring that projects are well-planned, feasible, and aligned with our sustainability goals. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a thorough understanding of the solar energy industry. Ensure that feasibility criteria are met for potential solar projects prior to Preconstruction engagement. Review project risk status of development items that may impact construction costs and develop strategies for risk mitigation. Work closely with various internal teams to evaluate and understand site conditions, client goals, and other essential deal elements. Review drawings and specifications, and have a clear understanding of the scope of work and schedule expectations. Produce cost estimates and establish budgets for PV and battery storage projects that highlight key assumptions, exclusions, and other deal elements.
