R&D Engineer - SVD

Design & develop scalable data analysis & visualization tools (incl Visualization Toolkit (VTK) and ParaView) for use by researchers & professionals from various domains. Design & develop end-user tools for data analysis & visualization. Solve problems ranging from developing distributed memory parallel algorithms for data analysis & visualization to maintaining software on supercomputers. Contribute to development of next gen data analysis & visualization tools. Contribute to & support dynamic open source communities built around open source tools. Communicate w/ customers & mentor more junior employees. Contribute to improvement of tech platforms & provide feedback on policies/procedures. Little local or national travel to client locations may be involved.
