Senior Data Engineer with PL/SQL

The senior data engineer develops, constructs, tests and maintains architectures, such as databases and large-scale processing systems, and ensures that architecture fully supports requirements of the business. Plays a collaborative role where he/she works closely with the business’s Data and Analytics teams, gathering technical requirements for exceptional data governance. In the course of developing Telekom’s platform for Machine-to-Machine Reporting (TMSP), further activities in the areas of database development and reporting are required. As a rapidly growing Telekom application, it is crucial to respond quickly to reporting requirements, using agile development methods (SCRUM, Kanban). Responsibilities include adjustments and further developments in the database areas (STAGE, INTEGRATION, AGGREGATION, and EXPORT LAYER) and expanding the semantic intermediate layer. You will be part of an agile DevOps team and will primarily be responsible for the functionality and optimization of our ETL process chains. You will support our frontend reporting based on SAP BO Web Intelligence and assist with platform releases by performing functional tests. You are welcome to contribute innovative ideas and familiarize yourself with new technologies, such as cloud technologies and frontend tools like Power BI and MS Strategy.
