Position Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Vulnerability Management / Scan Operator to support a mission-critical federal IAM program.
- This role focuses on vulnerability identification, remediation, and security compliance for the U.S. Department of Education’s Federal Student Aid (FSA) office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans, analyze results, and develop remediation plans for IAM systems.
- Support federal compliance assessments and maintain POA&M in CSAM to track findings.
- Monitor CDM results and respond to CVE data calls within required timeframes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in vulnerability management or security scanning.
- Expertise in federal cybersecurity frameworks such as FISMA, NIST, and CISA BOD directives.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with scanning tools and compliance reporting.
