About the Role:
- This is a senior role in a fast-paced environment, contributing to editorial oversight of NFL coverage using data analytics.
- You will partner across editorial and business teams on range of initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a staff of reporters with emphasis on news and team analysis; generate story and video ideas.
- Establish process to balance content assignments including breaking news, daily coverage, live blogs, long-form projects, and video.
- Assist with big-picture vision, long-term direction, and expansion opportunities.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience in sports journalism, including direct editorial management of writers.
- High-end knowledge of the NFL.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
