Job Description
The Family and School-Engagement Social Worker will provide short-term (3โ4 months), family and student centered, intensive case management, parent coaching and short-term counseling services to Kโ12 students. The specialist will build strong, collaborative relationships with families, educators, and school teams; conduct family intake interviews and gather social histories; develop individualized goals and strength-based interventions with school and family input. The Intervention Specialist will participate in crisis support and solution-focused team meetings, observe students and classrooms, offering insight and recommendations at the individual, classroom, or system level, deliver training and coaching to school teams and individual professionals within the school as needed, maintain timely and accurate documentation, and engage in regular reflective supervision and team collaboration.
