Looking for a Senior Software Engineer that thrives at the intersection of infrastructure and software development. The Compute team's challenges break into platform engineering and cluster engineering. Platform Engineering includes software automation, APIs and controllers, core SDKs, and software that codifies out-of-cluster concerns. Cluster Engineering involves performance, efficiency, and stability, including node-level performance detection, schedulers, Kubernetes controllers, and cluster upgrades. As a member, your work will span domains with challenging infrastructure and software engineering problems, directly impacting hundreds of millions of users. You will work collaboratively with a team of software engineers to create and maintain the foundational platform, improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency and contribute feedback to the technical and strategic direction of the compute platform.
