What You'll Do:

• Execute the voice of Complex Pop Culture across all social platforms, exhibiting excellent judgment and audience-sensitive framing.
• Be responsible for all content published to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, focusing on streaming and creator culture.
• Lead community management, moderate DMs, and create real-time content by identifying memes and trends at the cusp of virality.

Who You Are:

• You have 2-3 years of social media and editorial experience with a publisher or brand.
• You possess extensive knowledge of internet and pop culture, with a focus on film/TV, anime, streamers, and video games.
• You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Premiere) and mobile editing software like CapCut.

Compensation and Hours:

• This freelance role requires working Saturdays and Sundays from 6pm to 1am ET.
• The pay rate is $28 per hour, with actual pay varying based on location and experience.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
