Software Test Manager

Define and execute the overall test strategy for Oura’s software platforms (mobile, backend, and data systems). Lead and mentor a high-performing software test team, driving a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally with development, data science and product teams to align on test objectives and quality standards, balancing managerial responsibilities with technical hands-on work. Design, drive and implement automated test frameworks and tools to enable reliable and scalable testing (e.g., Pytest, Appium). Contribute directly to test automation, CI/CD integrations, and test data pipelines. Visualize data and metrics to communicate test coverage and quality status to stakeholders. Define KPIs and dashboards for test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness. Champion quality standards, ensuring all teams adhere to best practices and processes, introducing AI-assisted testing methods and advanced analytics to enhance test effectiveness and reliability. Establish best practices for regression testing, exploratory testing, and release validation. Be the technical go-to person for test automation, tooling, and framework design decisions, coaching engineers on code quality, maintainability, and automation principles, evaluating and adopting new test technologies and methodologies to scale testing for future Oura products and services.
