Job Description
The Director, Translational Science will be a scientific and strategic partner instrumental in developing and building the pipeline. Key responsibilities include being a Subject Matter Expert in Pharmacology, Pathophysiology and drug target biology; establishing and maintaining strong partnerships; partnering with internal experts; assisting with stage-appropriate project translational strategy; and executing experiments to support translational questions. The director will develop internal expertise in disease areas, identify mechanisms, and generate hypotheses. They will also partner with BD and the Innovation Lab team to evaluate external assets and opportunities. The position requires a PhD or MD/PhD degree in Biology, Pharmacology, or related life sciences field with 5+ years’ experience. Excellent communication and project management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential.
