Role Overview:
- Own building and maintaining the in-house detection layer for fraud and abuse across trading data.
- Own partner-facing surveillance reporting from standardized reports to real-time monitoring.
- Work directly with partners to validate detections and tune rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detection models for wash trading, collusion, and eval/prop-firm fraud.
- Maintain data quality and hygiene across surveillance data.
- Investigate flagged cases and produce evidence-backed findings.
Qualifications:
- Deep trade-surveillance or market-risk experience with hands-on knowledge of abuse patterns.
- Strong SQL and cloud data warehouse experience (BigQuery, Athena).
- 10+ years in data analytics or science, ideally in trading or fintech.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range $162,000 - $212,000 USD plus annual bonus.
- 401(k) with 3.5% match and 23 days PTO plus holidays.
