Senior Director, Statistical Methodologist

Play a pivotal role in advancing innovative statistical methodologies within Research and Development, driving statistical innovation, ensuring methodological rigor and enhanced decision making across diverse projects. Expertise in cutting-edge design and analysis techniques—including adaptive design, Bayesian methods, AI/ML applications, causal inference, and advanced multiple testing approaches—will be instrumental in optimizing drug development outcomes. Reporting directly to the Vice President and Head of Biostatistics, RWDA, and Epidemiology. Lead the development and application of innovative statistical methodologies to enhance research efficiency and decision-making. Provide strategic direction and support to internal scientific working groups dedicated to key methods innovation areas. Contribute to AI/ML strategy within R&D and drive statistically sound applications to achieve drug development goals. Mentor and guide a team of statisticians and epidemiologists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Communicate complex statistical concepts and methodologies effectively to internal stakeholders. Represent the organization in cross-industry initiatives and collaborations, influencing statistical practices and methodologies externally.
