CAD Designer

Responsibilities:

• Provide CAD support for the production of electrical primary equipment layout and elevation drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Key Line Diagrams (KLD) outline cable route drawings, secondary schematics, wiring diagrams and support the production of outline optioneering drawing packages as directed by Principal and/or Discipline Specific Design Engineers.
• Produce a Contract Drawing List (CDL) identifying all the drawings being produced or updated as part of the works.
• Ensure that formally issued project drawings are provided in accordance with client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must be a self-starter, capable of working remote from management.
• Must have 5 years experience of working in an engineering sector and ideally the Power sector.
• Proficient in the use of 2D CAD, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel.

Additional Information:

• Location: Home based, with the option of working from Omnia offices, as pre project requirements.
• Must be willing to travel anywhere throughout the UK.
• Working Hours: Ideally full time but may consider part time staff positions.
