Job Description
As a Stream Restoration Engineer/Designer:
- Provide final technical review and approval of project documents, design plans, and remedial applications.
- Serve as a technical resource and expert advisor for complex stream restoration and ecological restoration projects.
- Manage regulatory and contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and train junior engineers in technical and regulatory processes.
- Participate in client presentations and proposal development to support business growth.
- Identify and implement continuous technical improvement initiatives and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related environmental discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Requires 5–10+ years of project-related environmental engineering experience; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Needs strong expertise in stream restoration design, ecological restoration, project management, and site characterization.
