• This strategy-and-impact role will turn organic search into the strongest channel for bringing in paying users.

What you'll own:

• Diagnose the traffic decline and recover tool pages that drive revenue.
• Run content pruning, technical SEO, AI search visibility, and authority building.
• Measure weekly on non-brand clicks, tool-page traffic, organic signups, and organic revenue.

Success looks like:

• By day 30: a written diagnosis and prioritized recovery plan with a cannibalization map.
• By day 90: tool-page fixes shipped, top cannibalization conflicts resolved, and a content calendar running.
• By month 6-12: non-brand organic clicks and signups back on an upward trend and organic as the most efficient channel.

You're probably a fit if:

• You have led a documented traffic recovery on a SaaS or tool site after a core or helpful-content update.
• You think in intent and revenue, not volume, and work fluently in GSC, Ahrefs/Semrush, GA4, and a crawler.
• You have a point of view on AI Overviews and LLM citations, and can ship changes yourself in WordPress or a similar CMS.
