Fractional CISO

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as acting CISO for multiple clients and SGP, owning strategic security leadership and compliance programs.
• Lead security assessments, risk reviews, and guide clients through certification and audit readiness.
• Oversee incident response, vulnerability management, and deliver executive reporting and security roadmaps.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field; 8+ years of information security experience with senior leadership.
• Hands-on expertise with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Levels 1-2, ISO/IEC 27001, risk assessments, SSPs, and POA&Ms.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and communicate effectively with executives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CISSP, CISM, CCISO, or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor certification.
• Consulting, MSP/MSSP, or professional-services experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors or a distributed advisory team.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily remote using standard computer and collaboration tools.
• May require travel, extended hours, or availability outside normal business hours.
