Job Description
Leverages advanced and specialized physics research expertise to test and analyze physical phenomena, captured with electro-optical imaging systems, conduct and shape R&D programs, and to support S&T client challenges. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, and mentors and supervises team members, as needed.
Basic Qualifications: 15+ years of experience with electro-optical (EO) imagery including collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products applying the principles of remote sensing, imagery processing, and advanced exploitation methods. Develops, tests, and evaluates new algorithms, processes, methodologies, and products using EO imagery and utilizes processing tools such as Python or MATLAB. Communicates with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
