Job Description
The Team: As part of the ClickHouse Core teams, you will contribute to, analyze, and optimize the performance of the core ClickHouse database. The team works on query optimization, distributed query optimization, relational operators, caching, and low-level optimizations.
Responsibilities: Ensure that the database performance does not deteriorate over time by extending existing and adding new performance tests. Serve as a resource for the Support Engineering team, helping to debug performance issues encountered by customers. Assess the impact of new features on performance and reliability, and work with the open-source community.
Requirements: Solid professional software development experience in C++. Strong knowledge in database internals and design. Experience in performance engineering, ideally in a database. A strong problem-solver with solid production debugging skills. Must be passionate about efficiency, availability, scalability and data governance thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
